Our screen sharing feature lets you show anything from your screen right inside your browser or via our desktop apps. No downloads are needed for viewers, and they don’t need an account to watch..
Screen sharing can be initiated using a computer. It is not currently possible to share your screen using a mobile device. Screen sharing can be viewed on all devices.
1. Ensure you have Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox or Safari Installed, or one of our Desktop *apps installed
2. Join your meeting
- Click 'Start' from your account dashboard in Chrome or the *App OR
- Paste your meeting room link in your Chrome browser
3. Select the 'SHARE' button at the bottom of the meeting window
4. Choose what you want to share
- Entire Screen / Desktop — show everything on your monitor. Good when switching between apps or sharing slide decks.
- Window — share just one app or window, so participants don’t see anything else.
- Chrome Tab — share a single browser tab, which is useful for websites or web apps.
5. (Optional) Share audio when using Google Chrome:
- On Windows: check “Share audio” in the share dialog when selecting your screen or tab.
- On Mac: you can share audio when sharing a Chrome tab (not when sharing the entire screen).
6. Presenting documents or slides:
- You can upload a document in the chat box to present it directly.
- If using slides in a Chrome tab, you can control them while presenting.
7. To stop sharing: click Stop Sharing Screen in the meeting window, or press the Share button again to toggle it off.
Tips & things to watch out for - Only select the window/tab you want to avoid accidentally sharing sensitive content. - Sharing a Chrome tab usually gives smoother performance and supports audio more reliably. - On Mac, entire screen sharing with audio may not be available. - Participants don’t need accounts or downloads to view a shared screen - just a browser or the app.
*Desktop and mobile apps are not available with every subscription.
